Position: Research Assistant-Economic Development

The incumbent functions as the office assistant and primary manager of data and research for the economic development efforts of the Chamber and reports directly to the Director of Economic Development.  Duties include but are not limited to the design and maintenance of electronic and hard-copy business proposal materials, data filing and retrieval system, tracking and compilation of commercial and industrial property databases and statistics, and the collection of local/regional demographics.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or Marketing is preferred (but not required). Candidates with experience in an economic development organization are encouraged to apply.
