Mission Statement An organization of economic development practitioners and advocates promoting a competitive business climate in Oklahoma through legislative initiatives, coalition building and professional development.
The Oklahoma Professional Economic Develoment Council (OEDC)was formed to provide technical expertise to governmental and private groups to achieve goals which support economic growth and development. OEDC provides a growing spectrum of support services in Oklahoma to industry leaders, professional economic developers and local governments who need a resource for managing their own local economic development initiatives. OEDC is managed by staff of The State Chamber through a management agreement. As a member of OEDC, you will be a part of a strong membership base attracted from around the state, representing both rural and urban areas. Such diverse backgrounds result in economic development solutions that work. OEDC will help bring about Oklahoma’s revitalization.

Key Standing Committees Help solve Oklahoma’s problems and promote economic development for our state by serving on one of the following standing committees: Legislative Advocacy Committee, Programs committee, Awards/Scholarship Committee and Membership Recruitment/Retention Committee.
